CREATIVE WANDERING

Both inner wandering (within our own mind), or outer wandering (exploring the environment) have much in common and offer us a fascinating “Flow” experience…both are relatively free of goals and destinations which allows the experience to be more in the “now’…both have more trust in spontaneous intuitive feelings rather than a rational plan…both offer a more creative and novel awareness not preconceived…and both are free from our routine preoccupations….life above all is an exploration and adventure.

“Not all who wander are lost.”~J.R.R. Tolkien

“I know not how I may seem to others, but to myself I am but a small child wandering upon the vast shores of knowledge, every now and then finding a small bright pebble to content myself with.”~Plato

“If we really think that home is elsewhere and that this life is a wandering to find home,” why should we not look forward to the arrival?”~ C.S. Lewis

While wandering, you experience a mysteriously organic process. Its like a tree growing. It doesnt know where its growing next. A branch may grow this way and then another way. When you look back, you’ll see that this will have been an organic development.”~Joseph Campbell

“Wandering re-establishes the original harmony which once existed between man and the universe.” ~Anatole Francis
