
It is characteristic of humans to believe in a socially conditioned and fabricated separate self or ego to be our true identity and meaning in life…we also tend to overlook the awesome natural intelligence within us which are at the roots of our being… and ignore the need to harmonize this awareness with our everyday life…unfortunately instead, we usually follow the assumptions of the ego which often creates a “tale told by an idiot”.
Creeps in this petty pace from day to day,

And all our yesterdays have lighted fools

Our culture deeply committed to progress and advancement seems to ignore the fact that Nature is continuously cyclical moving without a future goal or destination…pride in our technological revolution is looked upon separately from the problems it causes including nuclear weapons and global warming…but our faith in logical problem solving leads us to believe we can overcome any obstacle.
There are some individuals who transcend social conformity by following deeper instinctual feelings which offer new insight into the potentials generally hidden within all of us…but to break out of our social values and expectations calls for a courage not commonly found in most people.
