Aquarius Man and Aquarius Woman Love Compatibility

Ah, the strange world of love. Finding a partner in this dark and dreary world is a challenge in itself. Then once you finally meet someone who you think could have a place in your future, the inevitable question might pop up: What’s your sign?

For some, star signs don’t matter. After all, we choose potential mates based on attraction as well as compatibility, not under what astrological sign they were born under. But checking sites dedicated to zodiac does give some pause as there are character traits in one’s designated sign that does ring close to home.

Basing the potential of a relationship on solely each other’s zodiac signs isn’t exactly a recipe for success, minding the traits that each partner possesses may help the relationship develop further. After all, you don’t go into a relationship for the sole purpose of breaking up – you want it to go somewhere. Yes, it’s understandable that somewhere down the line things might not work out as you intended, but the main point here is trying to make it work.

Understanding is a key to a successful relationship and sometimes we can be guided by the stars – to a certain degree of course.

Although they say opposites attract, what happens when the person you like is a fellow Aquarius? Sometimes, a good relationship is shared between people who tend to like the same things. So is it possible for two Aquarius souls to fall in love or at least be in a relationship?

The Aquarius Man

Liberal and independent are the two words that best describe an Aquarius man. Generally speaking, an Aquarius loves new ideas, progress and inventiveness. As a result, they may scoff at things they consider to be too traditional or outdated. With these characteristics, it’s not a stretch to say they want to help make the world a better place with their ideas and solutions.

An Aquarius man is also intellectual, humanitarian and visionary. As such, one may think he may be a mad scientist but that’s just their nature: they love thinking and helping. In other words, it takes a lot of understanding on their partners to get used to these habits.

Freedom is a big thing for an Aquarius man too. Exploring will be a huge part of your life together, be it around the world or just through conversation. Given that the tastes of an Aquarius man can border on unusual, travel itineraries might not involve the usual culture trips; you might embark on wild vacations like going to places that are considered off the beaten path. This same concept applies to their thinking as well.

One of the best ways to describe an Aquarius man is non-conformist. You will see it in the way they dress, to their choice in career and even their lifestyle. While this characteristic can be admirable, it too can lead to their downfall. Obstinate and stubborn, they want to see what they start through, no matter what it takes.

Although an Aquarius man may be popular, that doesn’t mean everyone will understand them. They are complex beings who take time getting used to. But being interested in knowing them reveals a character that is likeable and knowledgeable despite the complexities.

The Aquarius Woman

Men who expect their ladies to be bound to certain duties and responsibilities should know that this isn’t what an Aquarius lady wants. A woman born under the Aquarius star sign is considered the ultimate non-conformist, and they don’t want to be pinned down to a single stereotype. They can achieve many different things and they are equipped with the temperament to do so.

Although Aquarius is an air sign, women born under this star sign isn’t exactly lightweight. They are more like a tempest: fierce and powerful. Understandably, wanting a relationship with her might seem scary given the strong nature of their personality. But knowing how to ride along will allow you to see an independent, smart and original woman.

The approach of an Aquarius woman to life is grand and humanitarian. They like change and love helping out. Being in a relationship with them will be filled with constant quests to make things better, whether in their lives or within the community.

Just like an Aquarius man, an Aquarius woman is also quirky and independent. Yes, she may not like being told what she should do but when you do ask her for help, she’s more than willing to assist you.

Smart and conversational, an Aquarius woman can get along with people from all walks of life. Although they may be complex characters, Aquarius women are blessed with a passion that helps them see things through and achieve what they set out to do.

Two Aquarius Together

Given the Aquarius personality traits, their best matches are Sagittarius (they tend to dream big and are equally unpredictable), Libra (a fellow Air sign with a love of intellectual pursuits and being around people) and Gemini (a great match considering the their love of ideas, conversation and variety). Although a fellow Aquarius isn’t their worst love match, it would take a whole lot for the relationship to work.

Why It WILL Work

Both Aquarius men and women are humanitarians, and who better to partner with when wanting to help others than someone who shares similar views? Given that they might share the same ideas as well, conversation between them will be smooth involving lots of things to talk about. Most importantly, Aquarious personalities know what they want in life and having someone who understands those needs is a great recipe for relationship success.

Why It WON’T Work

An Aquarius loves independence. It’s considered one of their best assets and might be the reason a relationship between the two like-minded individuals won’t work. While both of them may support the want for independence of the other, not being able to compromise might spell doom for the relationship.

Is it Worth the Risk?

It’s always been said, “love is love.” The possibility of a successful all Aquarius union is high, but it does take a whole level of understanding and compromise to make the relationship work.
