If you have a tendency to worry, this is a personal characteristic that can often cause increased feelings of jealousy.

Quality of Relationship

The type and quality of a relationship is often the biggest factor regarding the existence of jealousy. If the relationship is healthy and trusts exist, this is not a relationship where feelings o jealousy are seen or warranted. However, in a combative, unstable and unloving relationship, jealousy is one of the biggest emotions. The quality of the relationship can be one of the biggest causes of jealousy.

Determining just one cause of jealousy is nearly impossible, but there are many factors that are linked and can be connected to this emotion. Jealousy is a natural emotion that can be entirely healthy, but it is when feelings of jealousy get out of hand that difficulties can begin.
