ENFJ Relationship Compatibility

Myers-Briggs describes the ENFJ personality to be extraverted, intuitive, feeling, judging. Individuals with this type of personality are often inspired, affectionate and fun to be with. This is considered less common among the personalities, which accounts for just 2% of the population. However, they are often well-loved and very dedicated when finding a life-long companion. When searching for love though, they may have difficulty to keep their negative characteristics that can negatively affect a relationship.

If you come in contact with a guy or a girl with this personality type, you should take note that they are well tuned in to the feelings of others and would definitely want the people they love to be happy. Due to the manifestation of being a generous personality, they earned the nickname ‘giver’. Givers genuinely need to entertain and humor others as they enjoy the sense of being accepted as a result of their actions.

For those who would like to know more about this type of personality, here are a few things to remember when it comes to relationship compatibilities of ENFJs.

1. ENFJs are Helpful and Supportive

When in a relationship, ENFJs are very helpful as they are willingly supportive. Moreover, they inclined to appreciate their partners and to perform actions that pleases them. They are also very sensitive to the reactions and emotions of their partners.

2. They Make Excellent Cheerleaders

Having an active personality, it is in their nature to encourage their partners for the development of their full potential. More so, they are committed and ready to help while they seek opportunities in order to support their partners when they accomplish something.

3. ENFJs Prioritize Harmony

Individuals with ENFJ personality types would want to achieve a harmonious relationship even if they sacrifice their own needs. If conflict arises, it bothers them as they often elude it. Likewise, they are also sensitive to criticisms which can sometimes affect them severely. However, since they have a good insight about emotions, motivations, and people, they can easily use these traits to resolve things accordingly.

4. Good Role in Parenting

ENFJs are very active in acting the role as parents, as they are good at guiding their children’s development. They also enjoy teaching children how the world works and set clear insights about what is wrong and right in a very warm and supportive fashion. At the same time, they have very positive outlook for their children which they often envision the future positively. They also have interest in the potential of their children and they support them to improve it.

ENFJs are found to be highly compatible with those that are INTP (introverted, intuitive, thinking, and perceiving) and INFP (introverted, intuitive, feeling, and perceiving) personality types. This is because the introverted nature of such personalities will complement well with the extraverted ENFJ. Likewise, Intuitive individuals suit well with an ENFJ personality as they can share ability of sensing and providing to the needs of one another. This is quite essential for this selfless giver who has a tendency to put his or her wants behind in order to prioritize his or her partner.
