Psychological Neoteny

The Psychological Neoteny is being defined as psychological immaturity wherein it is simply means failure to form a certain finished mind. It is also called pedogenesis wherein it is the offspring production of a certain organism in a form of juvenile and larval cycle. It is a natural state of the human brain and it will fully develop if a certain individual reach the age of 20. The Psychological Neoteny is also known as Peter Pan Syndrome. The delayed development rate with consequent in adulthood will lead to earlier phase of the life cycle of a certain individual. It is the juvenile and retention characteristics in adulthood stage.

The Psychological Neoteny merely evolves in child like attitudes and behaviors but when the years goes by, the Psychological Neoteny will change since most people will change their jobs, deal with new things, move to other places and meet different people. The Psychological Neoteny is also referred to as the biological phenomenon wherein the development is being delayed like juvenile characteristics.

According to some researches, psychological neoteny is usually caused by prolonged average of education since most of the significant sense of students is unfinished. Psychological neoteny will also serve as a helpful trait for individuals especially in the modern culture. There are instances that people need to act like a child to keep developing, learning and adapting the rapid rate of change. It is indeed that the major cause of Psychological Neoteny in the modern life is the prolonged formal education. It is very important that you have a clear and better understanding with psychological neoteny as well as with the empirical investigation of Psychological Neoteny.

By entering to this new phase of life, you also need to say goodbye to your youth lifestyle as well as the behaviors and attitudes that you usually act during your youthful stage. The parenthood stage is being associated with a broad range of integrating effects and psychologically maturing attitudes that both women and men must possess.

The conclusion in the Psychological Neoteny is really increasing as well as the percentage of those individual who want to pursue their higher education. In psychological neoteny studies, the development of a certain organism is delayed and the sexual development is fast. There are also well known human traits like large brain, broadened face, hairless face, hairless body, small nose, small teeth, thinness of the skull bones and larger eyes.

The Psychological Neoteny is considered as one feature that keeps the adaptive qualities and higher flexibility of a certain object. Most of the eminent scientists demonstrate the psychological neotenous traits that include affection, sociality, playfulness and curiosity. Psychological Neoteny is also called natural creativity since this is one of the reasons why most kids are creative as compared to adults. A certain behavior of creative people will tend to be childish and this trait can be one of the helpful tools for an individual to go out with their comfort zone. The design thinking also belongs to neotenic behavior that usually lead to change and that is one of the reasons why it serves as an important tool to the human life nowadays.
