Signs of Jealousy

Jealousy is a natural emotion, but it can be harmful if it becomes overpowering. This means that if you are in a relationship where jealousy exists, you need to be able to spot it. There are a few signs that you can be aware of that are telltale of jealousy that goes beyond the norm. Being aware of jealousy is possible if you are motivated enough to look out for the signs. Jealousy can be the downfall of many relationships, so you need to know what to be on the lookout for. Here are some of the most common signs of jealousy.

Questioning

Many of the signs of jealousy are pretty subtle at first. One of the most common signs that you will begin to notice right away is questioning. This involves being asked questions over and over again about where you have been and who you have been with. Questions are natural, but if you notice that you are being questioned repeatedly, you need to start making a few changes. Just be sure that you are not being asked to give detail that is not necessary, because this is a sign that the questioning has gone too far and crossed a line.

Spying

Another sign of jealousy that is harder to ignore is spying. When one person does not trust another and is jealous, it is possible for the spying to begin. This can involve going through your phone or even following you on your way to work or school. People that are prone to be jealous tend to be really good at spying. This means that they will not just take your word and will try to find proof that you are being untruthful or unfaithful. If you notice that you are being spied on, it is time that you made a major change. This is an action that is not healthy and it is present in relationships where trust does not exist. This means that it might be time to end the relationship if you begin to notice that you are being spied on in any way due to jealousy.

Jealousy is a natural emotion and it can be healthy, but there are times when people take it too far. This means that you need to be on the lookout for these signs of jealousy that show you that a line has been crossed and it is time to make a change.
