Birth Order Relationship Compatibility

Have you been looking for the one? If countless dates have led to failed relationships, you might think the one doesn’t exist or has yet to be born. Well, you could be right on the born thing. Apparently, your birth order can predict your romantic compatibility. So instead of going out on a date to see if you like someone enough to be in a relationship with, just ask outright whether they are the firstborn, middle or later born, last born, or an only child.

In the book, The Birth Order Book of Love, author William Cane wrote that the order of your birth has an effect on your personality, which has a direct relation to how you deal with other people, and eventually your romantic partner.

Firstborns

Older brother of brothers
Nearly in every culture, first-born males are treated like a king. But older brothers enjoy special treatment even when other sons are born after them. They are not necessarily spoiled, but they tend to be dominant and bossy, especially to their younger brothers. On the plus side, they are kind, considerate and helpful, making them quite impressive to both men and women. Unfortunately, they might have difficulty understanding women, what with no other female to relate to, but their mother.

Their best match is a younger sister with brothers for siblings, as she is likely to be looking for someone who is a natural leader like her brothers. She can also understand why he acts the way he does, as she is surrounded by male family members.

Older brother of sisters
An older brother surrounded by female siblings has an amazing ability to understand women. For this, women are drawn to him, because they understand their feelings and problems. They have an irresistible charm, brought on by lots of consideration, kindness and respect towards the opposite sex. Their best match is a younger sister of brothers, while the worst is a firstborn.

Older sister of sisters
They tend to be dominant with a natural tendency to be in control, strong and courageous. Having high standards, they are perfectionist with an aim to accomplish goals and bring more success than others. Their best match is a younger brother of sisters, while a good match is a younger brother of brothers, as they are exact opposites that help achieve balance in a relationship.

Middle and Later Borns

While the firstborns and the last borns are thoroughly defined, the middle and later borns, didn’t get as much attention. This is why they’re often perceived as rebellious and a risk taker, which isn’t entirely bad. Their rebellion may have also stemmed from their being more open to experience. What is great about them is that they are very good at compromising. They are a good match with a last born, another middle born and an only child.

Last Borns

Being the only baby left in the family, with their siblings all grown up, last borns tend to be extra-dependent. After all, it’s not only their parents that take care of them, but also older siblings. The youngest brother of brothers is a perfect match to an older sister of brothers. The youngest brother of sisters is suited for an older sister of brothers, and a younger sister of brothers. The youngest sister of sisters is an ideal match with an older brother or a younger brother of sisters.
