Myers Briggs Relationship Compatibility

There may be no such thing as the perfect couple, but there are definitely the odd couple and the ideal one. While everyone wants perfection, the best that anyone can hope for is close to perfection, and this is something you can achieve using Myers-Briggs relationship compatibility profile.

Yes, the same tool used to determine the most suitable college course and career for you can guide you in finding your most compatible partner. After all, how compatible or incompatible you are with each other greatly depends on each of your personality. Take it from successful marriages that attribute longevity to finding a balance between two parties – when one talks, the other one listens.

ISTJ

Individuals with this type of personality are efficient, practical, organized, responsible, and tend to take things seriously. Unfortunately, they don’t fare well when stressed, and may withdraw when pushed too hard. Even more unfortunate is that they may be emotionally unavailable. The good news is, not everyone may be put off with such a shortcoming. ISTJ personalities make the ideal partner for an ESTJ, INTJ, ISTP and a personality under the same type. But they should steer clear from ESFP, INFP, ESFJ and ENFP personalities.

ISTP

ISTP personality is realistic, logical and has a knack for troubleshooting. They’re the perfect analytical observers, and would very much like to be acknowledged for their skills and problem-solving capabilities. But they can be detached and overly pragmatic, although they show occasional spontaneity. When it comes to dealing with their emotions, they are more uncomfortable than comfortable. This is why they need an ESTP, ISTJ, INTJ and ESTJ personality for a harmonious relationship.

ESTP

With a sunny disposition and an optimistic outlook in life, ESTP individuals are enthusiastic, eager, outgoing, friendly, talkative and happiest when they are in the moment. They enjoy real-life experiences, new challenges and new activities, making them the perfect partner for someone who loves adventures and the outdoors. When stressed, however, they can become too impulsive. But an ISTJ, ISTP, ESTP and ESFP can keep them under control.

ISFJ

People with ISFJ personality have a strong need to belong and enjoy harmony too much, which is why they are not as enthusiastic to try new things. When stressed out, they tend to become rigid. They would also walk away from any form of confrontation. But they score very high on sticking to facts and being detailed. They are the perfect partner for ISFJ, ESTJ and INFJ personalities, and the worst for ENTJ, INTJ, INTP, ENFP and ENTP.

ISFP

Individuals with this type of personality are generally likable, what with them being compassionate, sensitive, down to earth, gentle and modest. Unfortunately, they tend to be detached to hide their vulnerability, making them difficult to get to know. Under pressure, they tend to withdraw and become passive. The good news is when they are in a relationship, they want to be deep and intimate connection, which is highly possible with ESFP and ISFP personality, but almost impossible with INTP, INTJ, ENTJ and ENTP personalities.

ESFP, ESFJ, INFJ, INFJ, ENFP, ENFJ, INTJ, INTP, ENTP and ENTJ have their best relationship fit as well.
