Tension Headache Stretches

Are you a workaholic person? Do you work hard or spend days in front of your computer to accomplish your daily task? If you do, well most probably, you sometimes suffer from a headache.

There are people who are suffering from mild to severe headache sometimes, there are some who may feel it more often and there are people who don’t even notice it at all because they are used to the pain having it on a daily basis. That may be tension headache.

Tension headache may be triggered by several causes. One, just what the question above is all about; being a very workaholic person is one of the most common reasons. Some job in this world requires you to think, think and think, there are also job that are very exhausting. There are situations that the task is not that hard however, being very workaholic in a very stubborn working environment could also be a factor that may trigger this issue.

Second, the stressful environment is another factor. Being stressed-out more often can also trigger Tension headache. Have you experienced this scenario before? Having lack of sleep may also cause this problem, having been in a movie marathon or over time work might be big reason. Other than those causes, here are the other reported factors that may trigger the issue: too much or lack of caffeine, medication, immunity to pain relievers and more.

The tension headache can be chronic or episodic. It may be a recurring feeling that’s what you don’t what to happen, or it can be chronic which makes it more painful in the long term and it will happen to you more often. Chronic tension headache may occur fifteen time or more in the range of three months period. You may feel tension headache for about 2 hours or more if that is not that severe. What happens inside your body when you encounter this issue is that there is a swelling muscle, misaligned nerves or misaligned spine, joint irritation and nerve compression.

According to doctors, what you can do to prevent this from happening is to perform tension headache stretches, proactive lifestyle, maintaining good posture and get rid of stress. Massage and tension headache stretches can relieve the pain being felt by the affected person. It can help him or her to loosen up the tight muscle or the muscle tension. It can also aid the compression of the nerves and may help the alignment of the spine back into its normal position.

Having a proactive lifestyle and having a good posture can also help. It can enhance the blood flow and can loosen-up your tight muscles as well. Moreover, getting rid of stress and avoiding stressful circumstances may turn into your advantage. If that is inevitable, you have to manage your stress well so learn the basics of stress management. How can you do that? Well… you can try to read some journals before you hit the bed, or you can also participate in recreational activities with your family.
