Adrenal Fatigue and Melasma

Each and every year, the number of patients who are suffering from adrenal fatigue and Melasma increases so most doctors are having great awareness and concern on it. Actually, these two are few of the serious health issues that must be treated continuously. Once the patient ignores his or her condition, it is possible that he or she will suffer from a very risky condition. A big amount of money will be needed for the continuous treatment that he or she will undergo. In this case, every person should be more aware of the condition of his or her health to avoid suffering from adrenal fatigue and melasma.

What is Adrenal Fatigue?

Adrenal fatigue is a syndrome wherein the adrenal glands are extremely worn out and not capable to generate a sufficient amount of hormones and Glucocorticoids cortisol. This particular term was created by James in 1998. This is often incorporated with extended and intense stress and it can also become severe after or during the occurrence of some acute infections like a respiratory infection.

This is often produced and developed in the adrenal glands wherein it doesn’t have the ability to reach the demand of stress. Adrenal glands assemble the responses of the body in each and every type of stress. These responses are present in the hormones wherein they control the production and storage of energy, muscle tone, immune function, and other processes which allow a person to deal with stress. The signs and symptoms of it are not really clear. Most doctors and other individuals who are working medical field are still searching for these.

What is Melasma?

Melasma is a dark or tan skin discoloration. The other name for it is “the mask of pregnancy or chloasma faciel. It is true that people of all ages regardless of sex can be affected by this skin issue. However, in most cases, this is very common to women primarily for those who are taking patch or oral contraceptives and pregnant ones.

The cause of Melasma is in the stimulation of pigment or melanocytes that produce cell in through the presence of female sex hormone progesterone and estrogen. This often produces a huge quantity of melanin pigments wherein the skin appears with melanin pigments once the skin is exposed to the sun for hours. Women who have light brown color of skin and are living in warmer regions are often the victims of this skin issue.

Common Signs and Symptoms

With regard to the signs and symptoms of it, there are no other signs that can tell you that you have Melasma. You will just see irregular and dark well demarcated hyper pigmented macules in patches which are usually found in the lips, forehead, upper cheek, upper lip, and lips. Most of the time, the pigmentation develops gradually.

If you see some signs that you have adrenal fatigue and Melasma, you must immediately go to the nearest hospital to get treatment right away. Always keep in your mind the advice and tips of your doctor to obtain a continuous recovery process.
